How a quote actually goes
Concrete numbers move on details, not on square footage. Here is what helps, what comes back, and what happens after that.
What to send us
None of this is mandatory. Each piece you have takes an assumption out of the price.
- Foundation and slab plans, plus the structural details and schedules
- The concrete spec section if the job has one, with any flatness or tolerance requirements
- A site plan showing access, staging and where a pump could set up
- Geotechnical report or the compaction requirement for the subgrade
- Finish you want — broom, power trowel, exposed aggregate, stamped and colored
- The dates that matter: when the site is ready and when you need to be out of the ground
What you get back
A proposal written in the same terms as the drawings, so you can check it line by line instead of trusting a lump sum.
- Quantities broken out: footing yardage, wall area, slab area and thickness
- Mix design and specified PSI, with air entrainment and admixtures where they apply
- Reinforcement as priced — bar size and spacing, or welded wire fabric
- Finish, joint layout and saw cutting, plus cure and seal or wet cure
- Placement method: chute, buggy, line pump or boom pump
- An explicit exclusions list — excavation, backfill, testing lab, permits, dewatering — so nothing is assumed in either direction
What happens next
We confirm we have it, tell you when the number will be ready, and ask about anything the drawings do not answer.
- A short call to settle scope, mix, finish and who is doing the dirt work
- A site visit where access, grade or an existing slab needs to be seen in person
- Budget pricing on early drawing sets, with the assumptions listed; a hard number on a permit set
- Revisions priced against the same line items, so you can see what changed and why
- Once awarded, a pre-pour walk and a placement date confirmed with the plant — not assumed
